bathroom extractor fan underperforming?
It might be in the closed position, rather than open to allow the fan to extract damp air and dust.
See examples of closed (left) and open (right) positions below. To open gently twist the inner circle and pull downward.
Or it could simply need clearing. The inner double circle vent unscrews. Hold the round bit at the base and gently turn until it is fully unscrewed. Remove dust build up and rinse. Vacuum the extractor vent in the ceiling.

Letter box not opening
The key barrel in the lock can get twisted around a little becoming out of alignment.
You can re-align it with your key, or if you find it easer a paperclip.
When unlocking the mailbox ensure teh key is all the way in, and when pulling it back out don’t twist it.
If this doesn’t solve the problem you may need to get the barrel replaced. Contact Beveridge Locksmiths for this.
